Garden Diary June 19, 2017

97 degrees at 8 am. It's supposed to reach 118 today. Yikes! Most veggies are dead or dying already, and sunflower and artichoke blooms are collapsing. Today will be the coup de grâce who haven't already succumbed. I am trying this water bottle wicking technique on some of my young melon plants. We'll see. There's always fall planting which which to look forward.
